Three steps to placing your people
- 01
Send us the assignment
The city, the dates and how many people. We come back with what is available and a corporate rate against it.
- 02
Approve one figure
Rent, furniture, utilities and Wi-Fi in a single monthly number, invoiced to the company with purchase orders supported.
- 03
They move in
Keys on arrival. No lease for anyone to negotiate, no deposit to reclaim and no setup for a relocation manager to chase.
Premium corporate housing for executive needs
Every residence is furnished and maintained by our own team to one specification, so a director landing in Irvine and a colleague landing in Manhattan walk into the same standard. That is what makes an extended assignment repeatable rather than a negotiation each time.
- Designer furniture
- Furnished by our own design team to one specification — the same in Irvine as in Manhattan.
- A kitchen you can cook in
- Equipped down to the cookware. Dinner at home on a Tuesday, not another restaurant bill.
- Hotel-grade linens
- Linens and towels laundered and replaced by our own housekeeping staff.
- Wi-Fi and utilities
- High-speed Wi-Fi and a smart TV, with utilities inside the monthly rate.
- Laundry in the residence
- A washer and dryer inside most residences. No coins, no basement, no per-item charge.
- Parking arranged
- Sorted at the building before you arrive, where the building offers it.
Buildings that work as hard as your team
Corporate housing is only as good as the building around it. Every address we hold in Chicago has a pool and a fitness center; most add a clubhouse with conference rooms and work-from-home space, so an employee on a long assignment is not running a working day out of the kitchen.
A guide to corporate housing in Chicago
Chicago is a headquarters and consulting city, which is what drives most of the extended stays we host here. Boeing, McDonald's, Abbott, Archer Daniels Midland and United all run head offices in the metro, the Big Four and the major consultancies keep large Loop practices, and Northwestern Memorial and Rush anchor a medical corridor that runs its own rotation of visiting staff. Those are assignments measured in months, not nights.
Our inventory sits in two lakefront towers: Coast Lakeshore in Streeterville, north of the river and inside walking distance of the Magnificent Mile and Northwestern's downtown campus, and The Reed in the South Loop, close to the Museum Campus and the southern end of the Loop. Both put an employee inside the L's reach of every downtown office, and both are new high-rise stock rather than converted walk-ups.
The economics favour a serviced residence sooner in Chicago than most people expect. A downtown hotel billed nightly across a sixty-night engagement costs more than a furnished apartment billed monthly, and it arrives without a kitchen, without in-unit laundry and without a second room to work in. For consultancies running Monday-to-Thursday rotations, the monthly rate also survives the weeks nobody is in the room.
Everything is invoiced to the company as one monthly figure covering rent, furniture, utilities and Wi-Fi, with purchase orders supported. There is no twelve-month lease to run through legal, no security deposit to reclaim and no penalty for closing a stay out early when a project finishes ahead of plan.
Winter is the practical argument for the buildings themselves. Between December and March an employee on a long assignment needs somewhere to be that is not the office and not a hotel bar, and both of our Chicago addresses carry a pool, a fitness floor and a clubhouse with rooms you can take a call in. That is the difference between an assignment somebody endures and one they extend.
Where things are
- Streeterville
- Between the lake and the Magnificent Mile, north of the river — Navy Pier, Ohio Street Beach and Northwestern's downtown campus all within walking distance.
- The Loop
- The office core inside the elevated tracks, with Millennium Park and the Art Institute along its eastern edge.
- The South Loop
- South of Congress toward the Museum Campus, the planetarium and the start of the lakefront path down to Hyde Park.
- The West Loop
- The old meatpacking blocks turned restaurant district, and the tech and consulting offices that followed them onto Fulton Market.
- River North
- Galleries, hotels and the bulk of the city's bar and dining rooms, immediately west of Streeterville.
Corporate housing in Chicago, answered
Because the assignments are long. Boeing, McDonald's, Abbott and United all run head offices in the metro, the major consultancies keep large Loop practices, and Northwestern Memorial and Rush rotate visiting clinical staff. Those stays are measured in months, and a nightly hotel rate does not survive them.
Yes. One monthly figure covering rent, furniture, utilities and Wi-Fi, invoiced to the company with purchase orders supported rather than charged to an individual and reclaimed through expenses.
It is most of what we do here. A monthly rate holds whether the room is used four nights a week or seven, which is usually cheaper across an engagement than a nightly rate plus the cost of moving somebody in and out every Monday.
Coast Lakeshore sits in Streeterville just north of the river, walking distance to the Magnificent Mile and Northwestern's downtown campus. The Reed sits in the South Loop at the southern end of the Loop. Both are a short ride from any office inside the elevated tracks.
The stay moves with it. There is no lease to renegotiate when a project extends, and no penalty clause when it closes out ahead of plan.
